Original Blurb
Following on last week's geektastic tour of inclusive fitness, I compare the parenting strategies of two incarnations of Iron Man: the Favreau/Downey movies and the gamey Nicktoons show Armored Adventures.
And I never got to mention my favorite running joke from Armored Adventures, where Happy Hogan keeps greeting the very reserved Gene by yelling, "Khaaan! KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" Ahh, the classics.
Quick note: I meant to say "parental affection," not "parental infection," but it's not quite Freudian enough to re-record. Speaking of the classics, it's amazing to me how many of the term papers I'm reading this weekend, in 2011, reference that guy.
Updates from 2021
Iron Man 3? Not so much.

Study: early puberty with absent fathers, though there are lots of possible confounding factors:

socioeconomic status
amount of artificial light in the home
